Greg Goelz, Vice President & General Manager, SanDisk ESS

Greg Goelz serves as vice president and general manager of the Enterprise Storage Solutions (ESS) group at SanDisk, where he is charged with overseeing the business including development, sales and marketing of solid state storage solutions for the enterprise market. Previously, he was the vice president of marketing at Pliant Technology. In this role, he led all marketing, product management and business development activities for the company.

Prior to joining Pliant, Goelz was the vice president of marketing at UPEK, Inc. where he helped establish the company’s leadership position in the PC market for trusted fingerprint biometric solutions. He also worked with SGI (formerly Silicon Graphics Inc.), as vice president and general manager of workstations and Intel-based servers, and has held several senior global marketing and sales management positions at Iomega Corporation, Conner Peripherals and other leading storage companies.
